Aspella
Aspella is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator, Aspella helps restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin to diminish facial wrinkles.
Aspella works with your body within the Dermis to help revitalize and stimulate collagen production and help restore your skin's inner structure and volume. When injected into the skin Aspella triggers the production of collagen, a protein that helps maintain skin structure and firmness. Over time, as collagen levels increase, the skin gradually becomes smoother, firmer, and more volumized, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, folds, and hollowed areas. This gradual process results in natural-looking and long-lasting rejuvenation, with effects lasting up to two years or more.

Treatment Overview

You can take Antihistamine and Arnica tablets (you can buy both from Boots) 1 week before your appointment to help reduce bruising and swelling post treatment.

Avoid drinking Alcohol 48 Hours before your treatment.

Drink lots of water.
Pre Treatment Care

Drink 2/3l of water per day following the treatment.

Massage the face twice daily for up to 2 weeks fopr 5 minuites.

Avoid alcohol 48hrs post treatment to reduce bruising.

Avoid blood thinning medication and anti-inflammatory drugs for the next 7 days.

Avoid direct sunlight and heat 48hrs post treatment.

Avoid any facial procedures for 2 weeks post treatment.

Avoid strenuous exercise 48hrs after your treatment.

Avoid using make up and any other products in the area 6 hours post treatment.

Avoid touching the area 6 hours post treatment.

Any discolouration, intense pain, abnormal swelling please consult your Technician.
Post Treatment Care
Aspella is mixed with Lidocane for comfort and topical numbing is applied. The treatment is comfortable to have done.
Aspella can be used for the face only.
The results from Aspella will most often last from 12-24 months.
Clients will begin to notice a difference in the texture and tone of their skin roughly 4 weeks post inital treatment. After just a single course of Aspella, which involves 3 injectable treatments 4-6 weeks apart, you can expect to see great change in the texture and firmness and have smoother, tighter skin.
The treatment can be repeated after six months in cases where more repair is desired.
We recommend no more than 4 sessions per year.
Most commonly Profhilo is used is clients 35+ to help improve the appearance of the skin texture, fine lines and wrinkles.
