Sclerotherapy is safe procedure that treats spider / thread veins on the legs. We use a needle to inject a solution into the unwanted spider / thread vein. Sclerotherapy involves using a needle to put a solution into the vein. The sclerotherapy solution causes the vein to scar. The scarring forces blood through healthier veins. The collapsed vein then fades.
After sclerotherapy, treated veins tend to fade within 2-4 weeks, although they might not disappear completely. 2-3 sessions are recommended spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

+ Please wear the compression garment daily for 1 week post treatment.

+ Avoid Alcohol 48hrs post treatment.

+ Avoid saunas, steam rooms, sun beds, hot baths/showers and excessive exercise for 72hrs post treatment.

+ Hyperpigmentation is normal post treatment it will lighten within 6 months post treatment.

Post Treatment Care
It is normal to experience some discomfort following the treatment. I would expect some swelling, itching and potential bruising.
Yes any results and removal of the thread veins are permanent.
It is common for some hyperpigmentation to be left at the site this should within 6 months integrate back into your natural skin colour. No scarring will occur.
Thread veins depending on the vein size and area size may need multiple sessions. 1-3 sessions are usually recommended and they can be repeated every 4-6 weeks .
