Our Pathway Into Aesthetics Course is designed for those looking for a way into Aesthetics. Our Pathway to Aesthetics course offers a great opportunity for aspiring Aesthetic Practitioners to start on their Journey. This course will give the relevant prerequisites for the student to attend Injectable Aesthetics Courses and includes Ofqual Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology, CPD Certified Microneedling and Dermaplaning training.
Course Entry Requirements:
This course is available for complete beginners with no previous experience, basic computer skills are required to complete this course.

Level 3 Anatomy + Physiology
The Ofqual Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy Physiology enables students to gain an in-depth understanding of the main body systems. These systems will include; the skin, hair, and nails, Cells and tissues, Skeletal, Muscular, Nervous, Endocrine, Respiratory, Cardiovascular, Digestive, Urinary, and Reproductive systems.
The course is studied at home in as much time that is required and assessed using a series of written assignments and an in-house assessment which requires a pass grade of 70%. at the end of the course. These are designed to test your knowledge of the course syllabus. These will need to be submitted or observed by to your tutor Carly who works along side the academy for marking, whereupon she will provide you with valuable advice and feedback to help improve your grades.
The Online Ofqual Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology Course is an essential course for students looking to pursue a career in beauty and skin aesthetic treatments.
Dermaplaning
1 - 1 CPD Accredited Training Course
The must have facial in your clinic ! The Dermaplaning course gives you all the knowledge and practical skills needed to perform Dermaplaning Facials to the face. This course will enable you to perform each treatment in a professional, safe and hygienic manner along with knowledge and experience in carrying out a thorough client consultation.
This is a 1 – 1 course with 1 in clinic day which includes a theory session, live demonstrations models and student models. Learning material is also included in the form of our comprehensive Dermaplaning manual.
Microneedling
1 - 1 CPD Accredited Training Course
The CPD Certified Microneedling course gives students all the knowledge and practical skills needed to perform Microneedling treatments to the face, neck and body. This course will enable you to perform each treatment in a professional, safe and hygienic manner along with knowledge and experience in carrying out a thorough client consultation.
This is a 1 – 1 course with 1 in clinic day which includes a theory session, live demonstrations models and student models. Learning material is also included in the form of our comprehensive Microneedling manual.
PRACTICAL DAYS
We will provide 2 in house clinic days for the Pathway to Aesthetics course which includes in depth theory, live demonstrations and live models for your practical sessions. Students will be very carefully observed and guided to ensure that they are confident enough to go and work on their own or as part of a professional Aesthetics Clinic.
Your Ofqual Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy Physiology is completed once the final in house assessment is taken and you have achieved a pass grade of 70%.
This assessment can be taken at anytime and is arranged with your tutor. There is no waiting for your result - you know immediately.
Only when the trainers are sure that the student is competent in all areas will they be signed off by Grace Byng Aesthetics Academy.
ANATOMY, PHYSIOLOGY AND THEORY
The course includes an in-depth full training day of Anatomy, Physiology and Theory to help students understand the complete science behind the human anatomy and to help further develop their overall knowledge to give clients the best and safest possible treatment.
TREATMENT UNDERSTANDING
Knowledge is power ... by gaining an in-depth understanding of the treatments itself, the science behind it and what's available for you to use on the market you can create a completely bespoke treatment, giving your client the best possible experience and results.
TREATMENT PROCEDURE
On your in clinic days you will learn the treatment protocols and procedures and how to incorporate all elements you’ve learnt into one flawless treatment for your clients when leaving the academy.
TREATMENT TECHNIQUE
Treatment technique is key to creating the best results for your clients. This includes factors such as; product types, needle depths and techniques. On your in clinic academy days you will observe live tutor led demonstrations before you get the chance to perform the treatment on your live models.
COMPLICATIONS
Each treatment comes with its own complications and contraindications. You will learn how your treatment could affect your clients and how to manage complications effectively in the event they do arise.
You will be given access to our independent Nurse Prescriber for product access.
CONSULTATIONS + CONSENT
Learning how to carry out a client consultation is one of the most important parts of the treatment process. Learn how to really hear and understand what the client is hoping to achieve from the procedure, manage client exceptions and concerns.
LAWS + PROCEDURES
You will learn everything you’ll need to know in order to follow the laws, regulations, guidelines and health and safety procedures of your sector.
